More About This Coffee

The “Sugarcane decaf” method is currently the most gentle alternative for producing decaffeinated coffee.

Sugarcane, which is extensively cultivated in Colombia, is used in this process as a “natural” source of ethyl acetate. Initially, molasses from sugarcane is fermented into ethanol. This ethanol is then mixed with acetic acid, leading to the creation of ethyl acetate, which is subsequently used in the caffeine removal process.

To us, good coffee is the result of careful craftsmanship, attention to detail and a deep respect for the coffee beans and the people who produce them.
